It's nerve-wracking.įor real-life tables, I'm fortunate enough to live not too far away from a couple pinball museums. No matter how many balls you've got left in play, you need to finish the sequence with just one ball. I've gotten to the final sequence numerous times, it's just that after one ball drain, it's all over. I'm currently trying to finally beat the Fantastic Four one. I've only played 7 out of the 8 tables I've got on 3DS. The AVP table and new Skyrim table look interesting too. I have heard a lot of good things about the Walking Dead table, but I don't like the series at all (generic, lame, predictable, preachy) and almost all the marvel and Star Wars tables require large pack to purchase. I was thinking of the South Park pack, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, World football (the soccer table) Mars and maybe Portal and SFII. It seems people are all over the place on what are good tables and bad tables on Zen. I have the original four (Tesla, Shaman, V12, El Dorado), Sorcerer's Lair, Wild West Showdown, Castle Storm and Epic Quest. I want to add to my Zen Collection and I am trying to figure out what tables are the best. I burned so much time in the Captain America table that I managed to hit the top ten for scores on the world leaderboard. I'm afraid to buy any for PC because I know how badly I'll get hooked. I own all the Zen Pinball games for 3DS (Marvel Pinball and Zen Pinball 3D). Anyway, I’m just gonna have to buy the from the guys with the classic tables where play action is more varied and less visually assaulting.Zeogold: Real-life tables, or virtual tables? At the risk of contradicting myself, I do like the free table, where my high score is 147,000,000, about an hour on a quarter. My take is just play the free table, it doesn’t get better I much prefer it over the tables I purchased. If there are plunger skill shots they’re well hidden, launch behavior seems predictably repetitive. The bumpers mostly just seem in the way and don’t allow for skilled interaction. The side games within the tables are difficult to get to and mostly just frustrating, no intuitive play controls and you just get dumped with no way to gain skill. The graphics and bells and whistles are completely over the top, practically seizure inducing. I bought two table and couldn’t stand them, obviously I’m not gong to keep buying tables hoping it gets better. New tables released regularly through in-app purchase.Įverything about this game is outstanding: physics, play action, graphics, views, UI, store integration, all great. We’re going to keep playing probably long after this review, and we’ll have no qualms ponying up for extra tables.Ĩ. Marvel Pinball is a great add-on to an already excellent experience.ħ.
