The place had some families around but wasnt too full and the noise in the evening died down very quickly. We spent some time around dinner time over in the camp kitchen, and cooked our bbq and played a game of scrabble. We were extremely comfortable, even though we had to hang out in the tent and not sit on our porch due to the rain. it was not great weather - drizzle on and off on Australia Day and very heavy rain overnight and the next day as we were leaving. We booked the glamping tent - double bed (two camp beds pushed together with thermorest air mattesses and linen and pillows included) tent was in the front line of tents facing the water. One was closed all day, and the other one shut. We didnt buy anything at all from the two cafes on the island. If you are going glamping - even though they provide you with the table/esky - i would take a wheel on esky, because it is too much trouble to get everything off the table every time you want something from the esky. The extra towels were handy due to the rain. We had a light that worked and we were even provided with extra towels and an extra quilt when i requested one. We had a very relaxing night, slept well and were not bothered by boats, planes or other campers. It was not great weather - drizzle on and off on Australia Day and very heavy rain overnight and the next day as we were leaving.
